KC had a Christmas party and the theme was Sahara. I said she should go as a malnutrioned child with tsetse flies buzzing around. She decided to go in with the girls at work and be Cleopatra and just whacked me around the head for my silly ideas as usual...
We used to have dress up parties at Gwithian. Or semi-dress up. I like them as long as you don't have to go all out.
Kathey's Halloween parties were the exception. Everyone knew that Kathey and Russell would go nuts, so everyone else had to go nuts too. Remember June as the rock star? Classic.

our christmas party is Posh or Punk. So there are suggestions of four people dressing up as the Ramones. I've already got the outfit from an eighties party where i dressed as Vivien out of the young ones - so its good to see i don't need to make too much of an effort trying to find something - just some red hairspray, actors glue and studs to put on my forehead. . . . not to mention that our division christmas party is also a dress up - Carribean theme (ie pirates, fruit on your head etc). I'm not bothering for that one - when someone asks about why i didn't get dressed up i'm just going to pull out a bean and say "i read the invite wrong - i thought it said "carry bean". Boom boom.
