With our new place that we are going to build the architect uses (as much as possible) products to build that don't contain or minimise the use of harmful ingredients or construction. I was thinking once that solar power for the house would be great to use (can't actually afford it) but wondered how many emissions were created in the construction process. Does the benefit of using solar outweigh the harm of construction? Surely plastics are used in the building then there is setting through melting or heating etc etc . . .
