I was thinking on the weekend about young adults in cars on Friday and Saturday nights cruising around town. They can't get into pubs (cough cough) so they just keep on driving in their cool new mobiles. Which can get kind of boring.
Here's an idea...
Lane-ing (pronounced Lay-ning)
You find a place to start and you have to keep driving until you have to change lanes. The longer you drive the better. So you reset your KM counter (can't remember name of this, although some call it a trip meter) and take off. You have to post your start and end points online and make a claim for the longest Lane-ing in your town.
Of course, some country towns could go forever, but I thinking about in Sydney when I got on the Anzac bridge. If you stick in lane three, you can get all the way across the Harbour Bridge.
At least it keeps kids off drugs!
