When is nude not nude?

An interesting question was posed by a friend recently who suggested that skinny dipping was not being nude. More specifically, if you have seen me nude whilst we were skinny dipping, then you haven't really seen me nude.

Perhaps, this is because of the quick strip and the run to the relative safety of the water?

Or maybe it is the fact that everyone looks elsewhere to avoid perving? (well, I do!).
